Refund policy

We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the original order number or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at usa@coloradotripod.com. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

You may return a product anytime within a 60 day period from when a product is delivered.

Damages and issues 

If your ballhead or tripod proves defective within 10 years of the original purchase date, Colorado Tripod Company will repair, or at our discretion replace it with no charge. We will not charge for labor, service or parts.

For ballheads and tripods returned to us from inside the USA we will pay for shipping back to our facility. When we send back the repaired ballhead or tripod, we will also pay for shipping back to your address. Signature required.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
If the item is broken we cannot except the return or if it's past the 60 day return window. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

The Warranty does not cover damaged caused by accident or misuse. Similar to a routine oil chance for your vehicle, our products require regular maintenance to operate at their best. If a product fails due to lack or user care, such as not cleaning or removing debris, the manufactures warranty does not apply.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
